The Overseas Room


Blomidon, Nova Scotia (30" x 20", oil, 1999)
I spent a week visiting a friend in Nova Scotia.
We drove to many spots, but this barn at Blomidon caught my attention for a photo.
The subsequent painting omits the power cable strung across to the roof.



Svartifoss, Iceland (20" x 30", oil, 2001)
This picture comes from an October fly-drive trip to Iceland. On a visit to the
National Park, I photographed this well known waterfall before it fell in shade.
The rocks are a Basalt formation.
